About our Products

The Gourmet Garden range of fresh tasting herbs and spices has sparked the imagination of people who love to cook. Gourmet Garden can quickly and easily transform every meal into something extraordinary, in seconds!

There is no chopping, mess or waste with Gourmet Garden. Each easy-to-use squeezable tube contains fresh herbs and spices. The technology used protects the qualities of fresh herbs and spices in a squeezable form, straight from the fridge. And because you only use what you need, there’s no wastage.

The Gourmet Garden range is made from freshly chopped herbs and spices which are blended and packaged without the use of heat. This ensures the fresh colors, flavors, aromas and textures of the herbs and spices are maintained.

Gourmet Garden is an Australian innovation and is manufactured on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Gourmet Garden was launched in Australia in 1999 and since then it has expanded internationally to other markets such as New Zealand The United Kingdom, USA and Canada.

Most of Gourmet Garden’s herbs and spices are grown in the fertile soils of the Callide Valley in Central Queensland.  Gourmet Garden herbs and spices are harvested and transported within hours, under the scientifically defined optimum conditions for each variety, to the Gourmet Garden plant at Palmwoods in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Queensland. There, the herbs and spices are washed, chopped, mixed and packaged into clear, squeezable tubes and distributed to the fresh produce sections of supermarkets in Australia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand.

The Eva Fresh patent was developed with a view to extending the life of fresh herbs and spices and provide a superior tasting alternative to dry herbs and spices. In essence, a practical ready to use solution to highly perishable fresh herbs. Given current shopping frequencies, using fresh every day is not practical in many Western markets. Typically half of the flavor of fresh Basil is lost within two days of harvest, before the herbs have even arrived at the retail shelf. Eva Fresh technology therefore offers a superior tasting, longer lasting offer, in a form better suited to time pressured modern meal preparation.

The Gourmet Garden process of producing the herbs and spices gives them a shelf life, after opening, of three months when refrigerated and six months when frozen.  The products can be used directly from the freezer with no need to defrost.

The Gourmet Garden range features 10 herbs and spices; Basil, Chili Pepper, Oregano, Garlic, Lemon Grass, Dill, Italian Seasoning, Parsley, Cilantro and Ginger.
