Bursting with fresh picked flavour are Gourmet Gardens range of handy herbs and spices in tubes. There is no chopping, mess or waste and they keep their fresh taste for months. They really are fresh herbs made easy for weekday cooking! Additionally Gourmet Garden herbs and spices are a source of antioxidants and contain no artificial flavours, colours or artificial preservatives.
Gourmet Garden is an Australian innovation with most of our herbs and spices grown in the fertile soils of the Callide Valley in Central Queensland. No pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers are used in the production of our herbs; in fact we are currently in the process of converting completely to organic farming principles.
Once grown, our herbs are harvested and transported within hours, under the scientifically defined optimum conditions for each variety, to our plant at Palmwoods in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Queensland. There the herbs are washed, chopped, blended and packed fresh into clear, squeezable tubes. In 2006 Gourmet Garden moved into a new purpose built plant which received organic certification by the Organic Food Chain in 2009.
The Gourmet Garden range features 15 herbs and spices in tubes. The range includes Basil, Mild Chilli, Hot Chilli, Chives, Oregano, Rosemary, Garlic , Chunky Garlic, Lemon Grass, Dill, Italian Herbs, Mint, Parsley, Coriander and Ginger. Gourmet Garden is also available in a range of multipacks, with each pack containing 6 convenient single-serve sachets. The multipack range includes Italian, Thai, Indian, Aussie BBQ, Garden Herbs and Garden Variety. We have also just introduced a new Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ range. The new range of convenient 80g tubes makes it easy to create authentic Indian, Mediterranean, Moroccan and Thai meals at home in minutes
