Spaghetti Marinara with Italian Herbs and Garlic

Ingredients
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 x 400g (14 oz) cans diced tomatoes
  • 375g spaghetti
  • 550g diced firm white fish
  • 400g peeled green medium prawns
  • 150g sliced small calamari tubes
  • 300g (9) prepared mussels
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Italian Herbs
  • 2 tsp Gourmet Garden Dill
Procedure SERVES 4
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large deep frying pan. Cook onion and Gourmet Garden Garlic until tender. Add tomato paste and tomatoes. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.

Step 2 
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti following packet directions until tender. Drain. Return to pan.

Step 3
Add mussels, white fish and prawns to sauce. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes or until mussels open and fish is just cooked.

Step 4
Add calamari, Gourmet Garden Italian Herbs and Dill. Simmer, covered, for 2 minutes. Add sauce to pasta. Toss to combine. Serve.
