This traditional Italian meal is easy with Gourmet Garden Mediterranean Seasoning
- 400g beef mince
- 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Mediterranean Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Basil
- 1/3 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 800g can diced tomatoes
- 375g dried spaghetti
- Baby spinach leaves to serve
Step 1
Combine beef mince with 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Mediterranean Seasoning and Gourmet Garden Basil and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Roll heaped teaspoons of mixture into balls.
Step 2
Heat a large oiled saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and Gourmet Garden Garlic. Cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends Mediterranean. Stir to coat.
Step 3
Add tomato paste and diced tomatoes. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium. Add meatballs, cook, covered for 5 - 7 minutes. Remove lid. Cook for a further 5 – 7 minutes or until sauce thickens and meatballs are cooked through.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling salted water following packet directions until tender. Drain well. Serve meatball sauce over pasta topped with baby spinach leaves.
