Prawn and Basil Fettuccine

Combining fettuccine and prawns couldn't be more delicious with this creamy pasta recipe.

Ingredients

  • 250g fettuccine

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 500g peeled and deveined prawns
    Add to Shopping List
  • 100g trimmed sugar snaps or snow peas
    Add to Shopping List
  • 100g halved cherry tomatoes
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Chilli
    Add to Shopping List
  • 3 tbsp Gourmet Garden Basil (now organically grown)
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1/4 cup cream
    Add to Shopping List
Procedure SERVES 4

Step 1
Cook fettuccine in a large saucepan of boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and return to pan.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large frying pan on medium. Add prawns. Cook, tossing, for 2-3 minutes until opaque.
Step 3
Add sugar snaps or snow peas, cherry tomatoes, Gourmet Garden Basil, Chilli and Garlic and cream.
Step 4
Cook, stirring, for 1 minute until heated through. Toss through pasta. Season to taste. Serve with green salad and enjoy.

This is a very quick recipe to do after work. Is ready in about 10 minutes and is delicious.
