Parsley is a popular garnish used globally and was used by Europeans as an after-dinner breath cleanser. The high content of chlorophyll in parsley helps it act as a breath fresher and some research suggest that it can even counteract garlic breath!
Throughout history Greeks and Romans associated it with speed and strength. It is a popular herb in Middle Eastern cuisines and is used in appetizers, beans, taboulleh, couscous and stews.
