Avocado, Tomato and Basil Salsa

A quick and easy dip or addition to Mexican meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced

  • 2 avocados, stoned and diced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Basil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Chilli
    Add to Shopping List
  • Corn chips, to serve
    Add to Shopping List
Procedure SERVES 4

Step 1
Drain diced tomatoes in a sieve for 5 minutes to remove some of their juice. Place tomato, avocado and onion in a bowl and gently stir using a fork to combine.
Step 2
Whisk together oil, vinegar, Gourmet Garden Basil and Chilli and stir through salsa. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve with corn chips or crackers.

You mentioned Chili Pepper.....but I think you meant Garlic....I'm just sayin'....
