Beef Satay Stir Fry with Chilli & Garlic
Beef Satay Stir Fry
Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. Gourmet Garden Chilli

  • 2 tbsp. reduced-fat peanut butter

  • 1 ½ tbsp. coconut milk
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp. water
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp. canola oil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tsp. Gourmet Garden Garlic
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 100g green beans, trimmed & halved
    Add to Shopping List
  • 400g beef stir-fry strips
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 150g snow peas, trimmed
    Add to Shopping List
  • Steamed rice to serve
    Add to Shopping List
Procedure SERVES 4


Step 1
Combine Gourmet Garden Chilli, peanut butter, coconut milk, water and lime juice in a small bowl. Stir to combine.

Step 2
Heat canola oil in a large saucepan or wok. Add Gourmet Garden Garlic, onion and green beans.  Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until beef is browned. 

Step 3
Add beef stir-fry strips, red pepper and snow peas. Stir-fry for 5 minutes or until beef is just cooked. 

Step 4
Add satay sauce mixture. Stir-fry until heated through. Serve beef satay on steamed rice.

Very tasty... The satay is very light. I suggest adding more peanut butter for a stronger taste.
