Biscuits with Cheddar, Chilli and Coriander
Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
    Add to Shopping List
  • 3/4 cup milk
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Coriander
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tsp Gourmet Garden Chilli
    Add to Shopping List
Procedure SERVES 12

Step 1
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in cheddar until mixture resembles oatmeal.
Step 2
Stir together milk, Gourmet Garden Coriander and Chilli. Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir to make a soft dough.
Step 3
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently a few strokes. Roll out to 1cm thickness. Cut into rounds with a 6cm cutter. Arrange on greased baking sheets. Brush tops lightly with a little extra milk.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated 240C (425F) oven for 10-12 minutes or until firm and golden. Serve warm with butter. Enjoy!
