Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Coriander
- 1 tsp Gourmet Garden Chilli
Procedure
SERVES 12
- Step 1
- Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in cheddar until mixture resembles oatmeal.
- Step 2
- Stir together milk, Gourmet Garden Coriander and Chilli. Add liquid to dry ingredients and stir to make a soft dough.
- Step 3
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead gently a few strokes. Roll out to 1cm thickness. Cut into rounds with a 6cm cutter. Arrange on greased baking sheets. Brush tops lightly with a little extra milk.
- Step 4
- Bake in a preheated 240C (425F) oven for 10-12 minutes or until firm and golden. Serve warm with butter. Enjoy!
