Ingredients
- 50g (1.8oz) Chinese vermicelli noodles
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce (optional)
- 2 tsp Gourmet Garden Coriander
- 1/2 tsp Gourmet Garden Lemon Grass
- 1/2 tsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
- 16 rice paper wrappers
- 250g (9oz) cooked prawns, shelled, deveined a
Procedure
SERVES 16
- Step 1
- Place noodles in a bowl. Cover with warm water. Allow to stand until softened. Drain well.
- Step 2
- Mix together sauces and Gourmet Garden Herbs. Toss through noodles. Set aside.
- Step 3
- Working with one wrapper at a time, place in a bowl of warm water. Soak for 1 to 2 minutes or until softened.
- Step 4
- Transfer to a board covered with a tea towel (to absorb any excess water). Top with about 3 prawn slices, a portion of noodle mixture and some sprouts.
- Step 5
- Fold sides in over filling. Roll up as a Swiss roll. Place on serving plate. Continue with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Step 6
- To prepare dipping sauce: Combine sauce and Gourmet Garden Chilli. Serve with rolls. If you prepare these ahead, cover with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated until required. Note: Cooked chicken
