Garlic & Ginger Mongolian Lamb
Mongolian Lamb

A quick & easy stir fry that can be prepared in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 600g lamb leg steaks, trimmed & thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

  • 1 tbsp canola oil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 green capsicum, thinly sliced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 red capsicum, thinly sliced
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Ginger
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp hoi sin sauce
    Add to Shopping List
  • ¼ cup water
    Add to Shopping List
  • 4 sliced green onions
    Add to Shopping List
  • Steamed rice to serve
    Add to Shopping List
Procedure SERVES 4

Step 1
Place lamb in a bowl. Add cornflour. Toss to combine.

Step 2
Heat canola oil in a wok. Stir fry lamb until almost cooked. Remove from pan. Add red onion, capsicums, Gourmet Garden Ginger and Garlic.

Step 3
Stir fry for 3 to 5 minutes or until just tender. Return lamb to pan with hoi sin sauce combined with water. 

Step 4
Add green onions. Toss to combine. Cook until heated through. Serve with steamed rice.

I used 2 tbsp of Gormet Garden Hot Chilli instead of Ginger and it was very tasty.
