Ingredients
- 1 diced onion
- 500g (18oz) lean mince
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 400g (14oz) canned diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
- 1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Basil
- 1 tbsp fresh Oregano
- 500g (18oz) boiled and drained penne
- Parmesan cheese to serve
Procedure
SERVES 4
- Step 1
- Pan fry onion and lean mince in olive oil.
- Step 2
- Stir in canned tomatoes and cup of tomato puree. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 3
- Add Gourmet Garden Garlic, Basil and fresh Oregano.
- Step 4
- Serve with penne pasta and a sprinkling of parmesan.
