Chef Shannon Kinsella
Shannon Kinsella is a chef and consultant specializing in world cuisines, most notably French, Italian and Mexican. She is kitchen director for the nationally aired cooking program, “Mexico One Plate at a Time,” starring Rick Bayless, with whom she has consulted since 1999. In addition, she has worked as a chef consultant for premier food organizations including The Kraft Kitchens, National Cattleman’s Beef Association, Sara Lee Branded Foods, The American Egg Board, National Pork Board, Cooking Light Magazine, Sur La Table and Con Agra. In her role as a private chef, she maintains an exclusive roster of celebrity clients.
She graduated with honors from the Chicago Cordon Bleu with a degree in Culinary Arts. She has also earned a certificate in Italian Culinary Exploration from Etoile in Venice.

Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Chef Sandy has been cooking for most of her life. It was not until late into her corporate sales and marketing career, that she realized that food was the center of her universe. Chef Sandy received her culinary training at the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu program. She then moved to San Diego where she pursued a Personal and Private Chef career. Expanding on her love of great wine, she also became a Level 1 sommelier through the International Sommelier Guild.
In 2000, realizing that working with people was still a passion; she began her career with ChefsUSA, a professional culinary demonstration company based in the Greater Atlanta area. As a culinary team member, she travels nationwide sharing her passion for healthy delicious food along with her love of cooking with corporate buyers and consumers alike. Chef Sandy now resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband Rick and her canine child ”Tucker”, her 2-year-old golden retriever, who serves as her “Lead Recipe Taster”.
