- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Ginger
- 12 slices of bread
- 1½ cups milk
- 5 large eggs
- Powdered sugar or pure maple syrup
Step 1
Melt butter with brown sugar and Gourmet Garden Ginger.
Step 2
Spread ginger mixture in 9” X 13” pan and layer bread two high. Beat together milk and eggs. Pour over bread, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Step 3
Bake for 50 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven, uncovered.
Step 4
Invert onto a warm platter. Serve with pure maple syrup or powdered sugar.
