Grilled Marinated Flank Steak

Spice up the humble steak with this delicious marinade.

Ingredients

  • 1lb flank steak, well trimmed
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Cilantro
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tsp Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper
    Add to Shopping List
  • OR 3 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Fresh BlendsTM Steak
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    Add to Shopping List
Method SERVES 4

Step 1
In a large self-sealing plastic bag, add steak to Gourmet Garden Garlic, Cilantro, Chili Pepper OR Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Steak, soy sauce & Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate for a least 2 hours (or overnight).

Step 2
Preheat the grill or broiler. Remove steak from marinade, and grill over moderate heart or broil 4 inches from the heat until steak is cooked to your liking - 5 to 6 minutes on each side for medium-rare and 6 to 7 minutes for medium.

Step 3
Let stand about 10 minutes, then, starting on the shorter side of the steak, slice on the bias and across the grain as thin as possible.

Serve with mixed Salad or Vegetables of your choosing
