Pasta with cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic & chili pepper

A quick and easy pasta, perfect for a mid-week meal.

Ingredients

  • 16oz (500g) pasta

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1lb cherry tomatoes
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
    Add to Shopping List
  • 3 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Basil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper (optional)
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
    Add to Shopping List
Method SERVES 4

Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions.

Step 2
While pasta is cooking, halve cherry tomatoes and cook cut side down in olive oil until softened.

Step 3
Add Gourmet Garden Garlic, Basil, Chili Pepper and sugar and stir.

Step 4
Combine sauce with cooked pasta and serve. Note: Use 1 can  drained diced tomatoes instead of fresh, heat and add herbs and sugar before mixing with pasta. Add small capers, tin drained tuna and lemon juice for seafood version. Serve with grated cheese.
