Scallops with ginger and lemon grass

Delicious sea scallops in a delicious ginger and lemon grass marinade

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Lemon Grass
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Ginger
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tsp. Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp. Gourmet Garden Cilantro
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 tbsp. dry sherry
    Add to Shopping List
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
    Add to Shopping List
  • 2 limes
    Add to Shopping List
  • 12 large or 24 small scallops
    Add to Shopping List
Method SERVES 2

Step 1
Make marinade from juice of one lime and add all other ingredients. Retain one lime to make wedges for garnish.

Step 2
Marinate scallops for 15 minutes. Discard marinade.

Step 2
Sear scallops in hot pan for 1 1/2 minutes each side. Enjoy!

Used talapia. I didn't have the coriander so I used basil instead. *Excellent* W/make again.
