Angel Hair Pasta with Crab

Serves 2
20 minutes
300 g angel hair pasta
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp Garlic Stir-In Paste
2 tbs small capers
1 tbs Lightly Dried Chilli
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 tbs Lightly Dried Parsley
1/4 bunch dill, finely chopped
250 g Crab meat, uncooked and picked
2 knobs of butter
Salt and pepper
A sprinkle of Lightly Dried Chilli

Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.


In a sauté​ pan add the oil and garlic and gently warm up over a low heat. Add the capers and chilli and cook for 3 minutes before adding the crab.


Add the pasta to the water and cook as per packet instructions.


Once cooked, strain the pasta and add it to the oil mixture along with some of the cooking water. Immediately add the butter, then the lemon zest and juice.


Add herbs and season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat all of the pasta and serve. For a gourmet finishing touch, sprinkle Gourmet Garden Lightly Dried Chilli.
