- 1 Brush scallops on both sides with Garlic Paste; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of the oil in large skillet on high heat. Place scallops in skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown on both sides, turning only once and adding remaining oil, if needed.
- 2 Sprinkle with Basil just before serving. Serve over cooked rice, if desired.
