  • 1 pound (500 grams) fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices bacon , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (28 grams) butter
  • 2 tablespoon (30 mililiters) Garlic
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup (125 mililiters) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (125 mililiters) finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mililiters) Basil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mililiter) Italian Herbs

Preparation

  • 1 Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well and set aside.
  • 2 Meanwhile, place bacon in large skillet. Add butter and Garlic Paste. Cook on medium heat bacon is cooked through and lightly browned.
  • 3 Whisk egg yolks, heavy cream, Parmesan, Basil Paste and Italian Herb Paste in medium bowl until well blended.
  • 4 Add hot cooked pasta to skillet with bacon, tossing to mix well. Gradually add egg mixture, tossing to mix well and heat through. Serve immediately.
