  • 4 tablespoon (60 milliliters) sesame oil
  • 4 cups (1 liter) finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) Lemongrass
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliter) Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon (30 milliliters) Ginger
  • 2 pounds (1 kilogram) ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon (30 milliliters) Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 milliliters) black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) chicken stock
  • 2 cups (500 milliliters) hot cooked rice

Preparation

  • 1 Heat sesame oil in large skillet or wok. Add onion, Lemongrass Paste, Ginger Paste and Garlic Paste. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often, until onions begin to brown.
  • 2 Add ground chicken; cook 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in fish sauce, Basil Paste, black pepper and chicken stock. Cook 5 to 7 minutes longer, or until meat is cooked through. Serve with hot cooked rice.
