- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Ginger, Stir-In Paste
- 12 slices bread
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 5 eggs
- powdered sugar or maple syrup
Melt butter with brown sugar and Gourmet Garden Ginger Stir-In Paste.
Spread ginger mixture in 9” X 13” pan and layer bread two slices deep. Beat together milk and eggs. Pour over bread, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Bake for 50 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven, uncovered.
Invert onto a warm platter. Serve with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
