  • 1 pound uncooked gnocchi
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) petite diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 tablespoons Italian Herbs
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Crushed Red Pepper

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a medium skillet on medium heat. Add onions; cook 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in Garlic Paste; cook 1 minute.

  • Add ground beef. Cook and crumble. Drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian Herbs, salt and crushed red pepper; bring to a simmer. Cook 10 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, cook gnocchi according to package directions. Drain. Stir into meat sauce. Garnish with shredded parmesan cheese, if desired.
