  • 1 package Gourmet Garden™ Zesty Italian Herb Skillet Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup water substitution IngredientsList_SubstitutionsAvailable
    • chicken stock
  • 8 ounces pasta, such as farfalle or rotini, cooked (optional)

  • 1 Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Remove from skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in same skillet. Add onion and tomatoes; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
  • 2 Stir in water and Skillet Sauce. Cook and stir 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and heated through. Return chicken to skillet and add hot cooked pasta, if using, stirring to coat with sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese to serve, if desired. Test Kitchen Tips: • For a vegetarian version, replace chicken with 2 cups chopped vegetables, such as mushrooms, spinach leaves, or broccoli.
