Ginger Waffle with Apple Chicken Sausage

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Gourmet Garden Gourmet Garden™ Lightly Dried Organic Ginger, Lightly Dried
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1½ cups buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 links chicken apple sausage, chopped
  • maple syrup, optional

  • 1 Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
  • 2 Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large skillet. Add beef, onion and Garlic Paste. Cook and stir until beef is browned and onion is softened. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir in Basil Paste and oregano. Simmer 30 minutes.
  • 3 Serve sauce over hot pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
